Princess Kitana is one of the main characters in the Mortal Kombat series of fighting games. She is the princess of Edenia and the daughter of King Jerrod and Queen Sindel, as well as an adopted daughter of Shao Kahn. Kitana has a twin sister, Mileena. Kitana's name is a combination of Japanese words Kitsune ("Fox") and Katana.
